Still Waiting...
So 2 months ago, I wrote about how I was waiting for sunshine and summer... Well, it's now almost August, and it looks like Mr.Sunshine decided to overlook Vancouver this year. Not to worry - as I'm going to take myself to sunshine. Yup - I'm flying to Toronto tonight where it's current 45 degrees celcius (including humidity). And will I complain about the heat? NO. After suffering through a so-called summer here in Vancouver, I will welcome the humidity and heat with open arms. *hugs*
All I have to say is #excitingtimesahead :)
Waiting for Sunshine
It seems like every year around this time, Vancouverites start to get extremely impatient with the weather... I mean, isn't the rainy part of Spring supposed to be gone? (ahem - April showers bring May flowers?)... Just wanted to point that out!
Well, I suppose while we all sit and 'patiently' wait for the sunshine to grace us with its presence - there's no better time than the present to make lists and anxiously await some summery activities!
What am I looking forward to this Summer?
- Wine Touring in Kelowna
- Outdoor Tea Parties
- "I'm-On-A-Yacht" themed evenings with the girls
- The re-institution of Patio Thursdays
- Freeing my toes in some fabulous summer shoes!
- Shedding the tights (that were shielding me from the cold)
- Evening beach walks and popsicles!
I'm more than certain there's a lot more to be added to this list - but it's a good start (as I'm not quite sure how fast this weather is going to be willing to cooperate!)
