Bookworm
People call me crazy because I only read non-fiction (minus the Harry Potter series, of course) - but I really thrive on learning (is that really geeky?). My belief is: If you're going to spend your time doing something, you might as well learn from it, right?
Here's my top 10 for geeky books I'm dying to read:
- Making Ideas Happen (Scott Belsky)
- Personality Not Included (Rohit Bhargava)
- Groundswell (Josh Bernoff and Charlene Li)
- Women, Work and the Art of Savoir Faire (Mireille Guilliano)
- Engage (Brian Solis)
- Ignore Everybody (Hugh MacLeod)
- Analytics at Work (Thomas Davenport)
- Linchpin (Seth Godin)
- Consumer Republic (Bruce Philp)
- Three Cups of Tea (Greg Mortenson)
All these titles and oh-so-much more are available online and in person at Chapters/Indigo.
